I call it the lord of all bags. This is because, no matter the economic situation of a country, the Birkin bag, which is designed by Hermès, represents status and achievement. It is a highly coveted fashion item in the world.

The production of this bag takes about 48 hours. They are handmade in France by an expert artisan.  Each bag is hand-sewn, buffed, painted, and polished, and that takes several days to finish.

The average cost of this fashionable bag is about $9,000, depending on the type of material used for its production. It has a distinctive feature, which is the company's signature saddle stitching.

The Birkin bag ranges in sizes, colors, and a variety of hides, such as Crocodile, Calf, Ostrich, and Lizard. The most expensive of all is the saltwater Crocodile.

Through research, I have the knowledge that the Birkin bag can be purchased from luxury bag shops now, for example, at the Milan Station in Central, Hong Kong. So, you don't have to go through the waiting list.

Even though the Hermès Birkin was named after Jane Birkin,Victoria Beckham has invested so much in this luxurious fashion item more than any celebrity and should get credit by naming her after a particular Hermès bag brand.

Am so in love with a Birkin bag that a few years ago, i remember someone i know showed up with one and i was so excited, i complimented her a million times, we hung out and each time she excused herself, i guarded the bag with all my strength, only to find out later that what she had was a replica Hermès Birkin bag...

I guess today is such an awkward day to post this blog, holding to the fact that its been predicted to be the judgement day.

So, if i may ask,who would think of buying a pair of shoes on judgement day? What time have you got to rock them on!

Sil vous plait, I wouldn't mind accepting a pair of Louboutins as gift today & where am I dressing in them to? Till I lay my hands on them... then I will explain that.

Getting  down to the real buisness on my blog today: The "Almighty" Divalicious Louboutins! These shoes are the most talked about shoes in Hollywood today.

They are worn by the high & mighty all over the world.

That is to say, if you can afford them, because they are very expensive!

Hey, am not talking about replicas here, so don't get yourself shoes that got red soles (am talking about replicas of the Red bottoms/soles) and assume you own a pair of Louboutins.

The other day, while trying out my blog & the first article, which would be about these beautiful shoes, I posted a few photos to my bbm icon, then a friend on my contact posted a photo of  Louboutins but this time with prayers asking God for a pair atleast.

My girl is a big girl, doing well for herself with a good job, high comfort and a good fashion sense.

Well, I engaged her in a conversation about these fashion trend of the moment.

Me: Gurl, Those Red bottoms cost just $6k... of course you can afford 15 of them at least, trust me

My Girl: What are you talking about? Go jor! (Meaning go away!)

Me: Sure you are a diva in your right, trust me you can afford them, or worst still, put a call across to Christian Louboutin and give him an order to send as many as you want & in a moment they're yours! (I laughed out loud to myself cause I knew that was sarcasm).

My Girl: $6k!!! God forbid evil!

Me: Yup that's the price of that particular brand, the cheapest you can get for a Louboutin is about $300+

My gurl: Now you're talking! How will i buy a pair of shoes for $6k, when am not crazy? I can accept as gift though & can get it for me at $300.

Then i posted a Louboutin photo that cost $300+ to her, and guess what? It was a Louboutin flip flop.

Don't laugh yet!

She replied immediately: My girl: For flats? Dem dey madt! No Nau, what for?

So what am saying here is, that is the cheapest you can get these shoes & for "flats", as my girl called them.

Now we know why Beyonce raise her shoe soles! She's saying, "these are LOUBOUTINS, I mean, "Red Bottoms"
